Ashley and Luke, a colorful, DIY filled backyard wedding at a family farm

Ashley and Luke tied the knot on her uncle's gorgeous property, Thompson Hill Farm, surrounded by loved ones. The pair DIYed most of the aspects of their day, making everything extra special. Ashley created her gorgeous bouquet out of fake flowers, pulled together simple centerpieces out of oil lamps and greenery, found her grandparents bistro set to use as the couple's sweetheart table, even put together her stationery suite. Every detail was perfectly planned out, even the napkins and cute Peter Rabbit plates for the children who attended the wedding! The whole day was filled with color, from the bold bouquets, the groomsmen's socks, and even the variations of purple for the bridesmaids dresses. After a sweet first look by the farmhouse, Ashley and Luke adventured through the woods on the property for portraits before the ceremony. The ceremony took place on a hill where Ashley's Uncle frequently holds sunrise services and the pair did a tree planting ceremony to celebrate their new life together. After the ceremony it was time to party! The decor perfectly fit the laid back vibe of the day that Ashley and Luke were aiming for, they gave sweet little jars of homemade preserves as favors that doubled as table numbers, served locally brewed beer, each table had mixed vintage glassware for the guests to grab some lemonade or tea, and the pair opted for a cake to cut and a cake buffet with various "naked" cakes.
